Libby Heaney Doesn't Illustrate Quantum Physics — She Runs Her Work on Quantum Hardware

Most art about quantum computing is art about the idea of quantum computing. Libby Heaney is the exception: she holds a PhD in quantum information science and executes work on actual quantum processors, across video, sculpture, watercolor, AR, and sound. Her 'Shadowscapes (Wilderness Within)' is showing at the Shenzhen Art and Technology Biennale through April 2027.
