Maker Faire Orlando returns November 7–8, 2026, 10am to 5pm both days, at the Central Florida Expo Center & Fairgrounds (4603 W Colonial Dr, Orlando). Parking is free on-site for the whole weekend, and a dedicated Field Trip Day runs the Friday before (November 6) for school groups, teachers, and homeschool families.
Admission is structured around several free and discounted categories worth knowing about before buying a ticket: students with a current college ID get a discount, educators at schools, colleges, universities, and libraries get in free with ID, registered groups from Title I schools attend free, first responders/active military/veterans each get a free ticket with ID, and the Making For All program offers $5-per-person daily admission for families with an EBT card. Tickets run as either a two-day Weekend Pass or a single-day pass for either Saturday or Sunday; exact pricing is only shown after starting checkout through the event’s Humanitix ticketing page rather than published as a flat number on the event site.
Make:’s own preview, published October 28, highlights ten exhibits worth planning a route around: a street-legal art-car built from a 1982 British Aerospace Hawker jet fuselage mounted on a 2004 Prius chassis; Freedom A.I., a customizable personal AI assistant demoed inside a modified Chevy Silverado; an autonomous gimbal system that tracks and films launching rockets; 3D-printed camera builds mixing open designs with self-modeled parts; hand-drawn word-mosaic portraits made of hundreds of individual words; an arcade cabinet built around jai-alai by Orlando studio Astro Crow; a space-themed workshop running live laser cutting and 3D printing; a cosplay and prop-building group that also raises funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation; digitally designed, 3D-printed block-printing tools with a modern twist on a traditional craft; and the volunteer team — organized by the nonprofit Maker Effect Foundation — that runs the event itself.
New this year: a second stage, which the Make: preview notes expands the presentation and demo lineup beyond what a single stage could fit. Strollers, backpacks, and one bottle of water are permitted inside; outside food and drink generally aren’t, with exceptions for medical, dietary, or religious needs; pets aren’t allowed except trained ADA service animals.
