What’s on offer
The prize is international, open to emerging artists working in any medium, with no set theme — a deliberately broad net compared to most juried calls, which typically specify a subject, medium, or format. Artists may submit up to three artworks, and judging (on concept, execution, originality, and impact) is handled by an independent panel.
The prize fund exceeds £5,000 across nine separate awards, not a single winner-take-all payout:

- NG Art Creative Residency: Emerging Artist Award — a two-week residency in Provence, France, worth €2,000

Why the spread of awards matters more than the headline number

A materials award helps differently than a residency; a mentoring subscription helps differently than cash.
