Shear Electronics' Relic Puts Eight Independent Analog Cores in One Box
The Relic gives each of its eight voices its own analog signal path and its own digital processor: 16 SEM-topology oscillators in total, seven LM13700-based VCAs per voice, and a filter with cutoff, resonance, bandwidth and profile as independent parameters. Shear Electronics says the first production run is under way — a run that follows a prototype first shown in 2017.
