The Avatar Draws, the Pen Plotter Draws, and the Machine Is Hidden From You
An observer wears an HMD and sees an avatar drawing. The avatar's motion is synchronised to a customised pen plotter whose mechanical parts are hidden, so the drawing that exists afterwards is physically real. Five configurations — live, playback, multi-site, mascot, system-controlled — and a design space organised around Time, Site, Control Source and Avatar Embodiment.
