"Born to Be Open" is a strong claim and most open-hardware launches do not survive it. RoboParty's does, mostly: real copyleft on the firmware and ROS stack, a genuine open-hardware licence on the mechanical files, and a handful of conspicuous gaps exactly where the reinforcement-learning code lives.
