Founded in 2005, DuckUnit makes stage environments out of light, motors, fabric, smoke and projection — for Thai alt-rock bands, for Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels, for Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Its most useful idea is a blunt observation about where an audience's attention begins, and what that forces you to build.
