Seven Screens in a Flooded Victorian Reservoir, and Only One Plays at a Time
Seven Deaths runs at Cisternerne until 30 November. Abramović performs seven operatic deaths from Callas roles opposite Willem Dafoe, in a former underground water reservoir where only one screen plays at a time, so the audience has to walk through darkness between them. The venue is the piece's co-author.
