A Diffusion Model Running on a Microcontroller With No Linux and No GPU
Two open-source projects have put generative models on bare-metal microcontrollers — no operating system, no GPU, no external accelerator. Neither claims to replace GPU inference. What they demonstrate is where the floor now is, and the floor is the interesting number for anyone building self-contained work.
