Cherry Audio Revives the Gleeman Pentaphonic, a 1980s Hybrid Almost Nobody Ever Played
The Gleeman Pentaphonic was a five-voice hybrid from the early 1980s with three digitally controlled oscillators per voice, analog filtering and a built-in sequencer — and it is rare enough that most people reading this have never heard one. Cherry Audio's recreation keeps the architecture and the eight waveforms, including the Complex 1 and Complex 2 waves, and adds what the hardware could not do.
