Natasha Tontey Shoots a B-Movie With Military Imaging Kit, and It Closes in Venice Next Month
The Phantom Combatants and the Metabolism of Disobedient Organs, commissioned by LAS Art Foundation and Amos Rex, is at Ateneo Veneto during the 61st Venice Biennale until October 25. Tontey uses surveillance-grade imaging technology — LiDAR, thermal, photogrammetry, quantum ghost imaging — against itself, in a campy B-movie register.
