The p5.js Web Editor Is Quietly Switching Its Entire Backend to OpenProcessing
The p5.js Web Editor will stop running its own backend and move onto OpenProcessing's API and servers, with the full switch planned for no earlier than December 15, 2026. The editor's look and function stay the same, but every account and sketch migrates unless a user opts out. Open alpha testing is live now, and early testers have already flagged two bugs.
