A Wrist-Worn Infrared Sensor Turns the Bare Palm Into an Absolute Coordinate Surface
PalmSpace is a wrist-worn infrared system that treats the bare palm as a body-referenced absolute input surface: contact, interaction mode and palm-relative position from one shared real-time model. Across 17 participants in leave-one-out evaluation it reached 6.7 mm mean localisation error and 96.7% F1 on four-class interaction state.
