xTool's O1 Omni Printer Wants to Replace Four Different Machines on Your Bench

Global launch commenced July 16: a desktop printer that combines UV, UV DTF, DTG, and DTF printing in one machine, laying down full-color ink plus white and gloss/matte/foil varnish on wood, acrylic, metal, glass, ceramic, and fabric.

Laser-cutter and crafting-machine maker xTool commenced the global launch of the O1 Omni Printer on July 16, with shipping beginning as early as August. The pitch is consolidation: a single desktop machine handling UV, UV DTF (direct-to-film), DTG (direct-to-garment), and DTF printing, aimed at makers and small studios currently running separate machines — or outsourcing entirely — for rigid-substrate printing versus fabric printing.

What “Omni” actually means here

The O1 Omni uses Epson F1080 printheads at 720×1440 dpi, laying down full-color CMYK ink plus white ink (needed for printing on dark or transparent substrates) and a three-in-one varnish that can finish as matte, gloss, or foil. That ink stack is what lets one machine cross material categories that normally require different printer types entirely: it can put a photo-realistic, full-color image directly onto wood, acrylic, metal, glass, and ceramic using UV-cured ink, and separately handle fabric printing via DTG/DTF workflows for garments and textiles.

For a maker or small studio, that’s the actual value proposition — not one new capability, but not needing four different machines (a UV flatbed printer, a DTF printer, a DTG printer, and separate transfer equipment) to serve customers who want both a printed acrylic sign and a printed t-shirt.

Pricing across three editions

xTool is shipping three configurations: a Single UV Edition at $1,699 preorder ($2,499 MSRP), a Dual-Head UV Edition at $2,699 preorder ($3,299 MSRP), and a UV + DT Fabric Edition at $2,799 preorder ($3,499 MSRP) that adds the garment-printing capability. That spread lets a buyer opt into fabric printing only if they actually need it, rather than paying for four-in-one versatility they won’t use — a sensible concession given how differently a sign-making studio and an apparel print shop actually use their equipment.

Where this sits in xTool’s lineup

This is a genuinely different product from xTool’s AImake “AI crafting agent,” announced at CES 2026 for its laser-cutting line — that’s a software layer for design-to-cutfile workflows, while the O1 Omni is new print hardware aimed at an adjacent but distinct workflow (full-color surface printing rather than cutting/engraving). Together they suggest a company betting on two separate growth vectors at once: smarter software for the machines it already sells, and hardware that expands into print categories it hasn’t previously served.
